What you are being called to do is unique to you and who you are. Your gifts, your skills, your passions are your pointers. This is what we will investigate in this doodle-shop.

My heart breaks watching the darkness of this divide creep into our souls,
threatening hopelessness,
threatening apathy, threatening distracting drama,
threatening unkindness,
threatening the very things each of us tries to stand for.
I felt it move in me too this past week upon the breaking news of the Supreme Court ruling.
I felt/feel triggered.
I felt/feel angry.
I felt/feel scared.
I felt/feel tired.
I felt/feel disbelief.
I felt/feel indescribable sadness.
I felt/feel hurt and neglected and undervalued.
Parts of me wanted/wants to post a million angry things on social media.
Parts of me wanted/wants to run away and forget about it in the chaos of my own life.
No part felt clear.
So I did what I do.
I contemplated through doodling.
The first one focused on the divide.
I saw the pain and anger on both sides.
I felt the rip, the crack in love growing wider.
Then I breathed and a new image started appearing.
It reminded me of my hope.
It also reminded me of me - my gifts, my skills, and what I offer.
The clarity brought me some inner peace as I came back into alignment with my highest self.
Inspired action appeared, something I could do to uplift and empower.
Creative energy will always find a way.
Creative energy is what is needed for this human evolution that we are being called to.
Creative energy can help each of us to find our own path through this pivotal time in a way that aligns with our gifts so we do not deplete ourselves, but move from the well of abundance for the long haul.
