We have all experienced it. That moment when you were struggling and someone showed up to say, “I know that pain. I have been there.”
Relief flooded your body. You no longer felt alone. And you probably even felt some hope that you, too, will someday be on the other side. It quite possibly may be a big reason you got to the other side.
Collective learning and growing is integral to the transformation process.
This is why I LOVE small group coaching and mentoring.
From the beginning, Studio Light Illustration integrated small group coaching as a part of the Apprenticeship program. While each person showed up with their own challenges, questions, experiences, and hopes, it wasn’t long before the similarities became very apparent.
A topic brought up by one participant always led to an exploration that helped everyone. Each person’s challenges resonated with everyone in some way. Wins were celebrated by people who really knew what it took to achieve it. Even if someone was “further along,” everyone would be there at some point.
Furthermore, participants not only had a coach, they had a community.
It was a community full of different experiences, different resources, different ideas. It was a community who could validate each other's struggles and offer their own version of support.
Feeling understood, having guidance, having a tribe, having a vision, having tools, having healthy accountability… These are the things that lead to growth. And these are the things that a group of like-minded people can provide.
Because of this, I am now offering Group Creative Coaching for creatives who want to feed their souls and their wallets within a community of support. And, because I have been a “starving artist” and wish to support others in that situation, I am offering it for just $50 a month.

Our next group will start in May. You have until mid-April to sign up for the remaining 2 slots!
Creative Coaching Groups will be kept small, 4-6 people. This is to ensure that everyone has plenty of time to share and be helped.
We will meet for 90 minutes, once a month on Zoom. Our meeting days and times will be determined by the group. We will find a time that works for everyone.
A digital platform will be established by the group for ongoing support throughout the month. Coach Karen Light will respond to any and all questions or posts at least twice a week.
You will have access to an online toolkit that you can use any time.
The cost is $50 a month with a 6-month commitment at a time to ensure group cohesion. You can pay on the 1st of each month or the total upfront. Many payment options are available.
